Jason Wassell is a public relations and risk communications specialist based in Edinburgh. He is a chartered PR practitioner, one of the first in the UK.
His work is a mix of UK and Scottish public affairs, media relations, community affairs, employee engagement as well as crisis communication.
Jason has worked in a range of sectors: retail, healthcare, life sciences, energy and financial services. With a strong background in the public sector he also provides advices to a range of public organisations, including central and local government.
Jason has experience of issues and crisis communication. He has worked with the Government to plan for, and tackle, a number of national risks. During 2009 he worked on pandemic flu, and in the past has advised on animal health outbreaks, extreme weather, industrial action and counter-terrorism.
Jason has also worked with commercial clients on sensitive issues.

During late 2009 Jason was delighted to be one of the first Chartered PR Practitioners in the UK.
